The devastating Earthquake on 25th April, 2015 with Gorkha Barpark and the frequent aftershocks, had taken number of life away and many of the physical structures were damaged. Almost all the building or houses, in the 14 most affected districts, are damaged completely. This incident made millions of family homeless. As we are known about the fact that Government of Nepal is trying to overcome this unforgettable incident by conducting reconstruction and rehabilitation project, constructing schools buildings which were collapsed.
LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL MD 325 NEPAL formed a committee named Disaster Relief and Reconstruction Committee to contribute in reconstruction of 18 schools for the most deprived victims in the most affected areas. Our primary objective is to built earthquake resistant and environment-friendly building with approval of Nepal Government in coordination with local authorities of Nepal Government in the working areas.
LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL has also provided immediate relief in the affected areas with the immediate resources collected at that period.
Construction of 18 Schools in earthquake affected areas.
Build earthquake resistant classrooms with furnishing, toilet and sanitation.
Introducing local lions to support on future programs related to children and school development.
